Hectic wedding preparations!! SORRY
I have a few people now told me off for not up dating the blog - I do apologise.
Things have just been very mad but I am pleased to tell you that I have made quite a lot of progress and actually its not only the little things that need sorting now!
Frances has been to stay and try on her bridesmaid dress and for some reason was shocked to find the 10 fit her perfectly!
I never thought she was a 12. But I think she felt the 10 was a bit snug and is still debating about whether to claim the 12 and have it taken it. I want to do whatever makes her comfortable.
So I am one step closer to having all of the bridesmaids sorted. The colour is just perfect for all of them.
My bridesmaids are all lovely and have agreed to pay to have their hair done so now I am searching for nice matching hair bands. Ebay seem to have hundreds that start from 99p!
Bargain!! It is after all only a hair decoration and no doubt they will only ever wear it once! I am also thinking of getting a few fresh flowers to go in their too and maybe even my own.
Just trying to figure out a time with my make up artist Sue (www.shimmerandshinemakeup.co.uk) to have my trial. Thinking it maybe tricky to find a time to suit her, the hair dresser and the wedding dress shop (I want to try on my wedding dress with my hair and make up done)
I also need to buy my tiara. I think most of them are beautiful and I am hoping a shopping trip to Lincoln with my mums sister, my Auntie Ann, will prove fruitful. My Nanna has given me the money to buy one so I can get something extra special.
I am still only planning to wear the tiara for the church and the wedding breakfast as I want to wear a huge feather hair band for the evening.
The invitations are on the way. We finally decided on a design and sent it off. I can';t wait to get them! I have taken a week off in June in order to write them all out. It is going to take forever! Will post a pic when I get them.
Last Monday I dragged Rich to the Chocolate Cellar in Liverpool ONE and we ordered our cake. Four tiers of chocolate naughtiness! After months on weight watchers (which is going very well) I can't wait to dive in! I am waiting for a picture of it to be scanned and I will then post it on here to show you!
We also got Richard's groomsmen sorted with their suits. There are now 10 of them! Originally we thought there would only be 5! It is a long story but lets just say my Dad got involved!!!
Right now I am focusing on the hen party! Two weeks woohoo!! I have bought my dress - a beautiful cobalt blue colour, new shoes, new underwear (matches the dress - yes im sad) and next on the agenda is new earrings!
It is going to be fab. I know the hotel we are staying in London and I know we are going to a restaurant, then watching Phantom of the Opera and then clubbing and spa treatments the next morning!!
It is going to be awesome! Im planning to spend some time in London too to catch up with people. So so so excited. Will def put picture up but maybe selective as my bosses read this!!!

RE: Last Monday I dragged Rich to the Chocolate Cellar in Liverpool ONE and we ordered our cake...
Dragged!?
I was the one who took Samantha to the shop having spotted it on a random wander around after work one day. I then went on about it for about a month until we eventually went.
I've been fairly crap in the run up to our wedding - organisation is not a strong point but this was one of the things I actually managed to do.
Glory hugger ;)
