THE DRESS is mine!

On Valentines Day I bought my wedding dress. Looking back now it was a really lovely day to buy it.

I took along my Dad, Danielle and Carol my Dad's fiancee.

I put the dress on complete with headdress and veil and came out the dressing room. Danielle (my little sister) got very teary, Carol said I looked stunning and my Dad well he was speechless.

As he left to go and cook for their Valentines dinner party my Dad said I looked 'beautiful' after years of telling me I looked 'fine' in everything it was particularly poignant and I knew I had made the right decision.

I only wish my mum could see me in it. I just want to know what she thinks to see her face. But I can't and I am beginning to accept that better.

Afterwards Danielle, Rich and I went for a celebratory drink in West Kirby. The dress was from Cherish the Bride in West Kirby and is by Marylise.

In the evening we went for dinner at the Leverhulme-the sister hotel of the Hillbark. The meal was lovely.

Everything is on course now and I am getting more excited by the day!!!
