We are getting married THIS year!!!!!!

All I have heard over the festive period is: 'it's not long now,only 8 months until the wedding you must be busy'......erm well no not yet.

I more than anyone realise that the wedding is going to come quickly now but the big things are sorted, the Capital of Culture year is over so I am less mad and I can really get into it.

On Monday the diet starts in earnest. I lost 8 pounds the last time I did Weight Watchers online and I plan to lose another stone- maybe more this time. I am going to keep you up to date with my progress -the good, the bad and the ugly.

I would do the whole before and after shots but people from work will see all of my lumps and bumps! Instead I will just post the after shots to make you all jealous when we are on honeymoon-wherever that may be!! Thinking maybe a three week tour of the west coast of America.

The New Year celebrations have moved Laura and Kim into action to organise the hen party! Not quite sure what they are cooking up but I know it includes spa treatments. Laura is mad for her spa treatments.

Really looking forward to it! Whatever they choose.

Going to a wedding fayre at Thornton Hall on Sunday with Danielle and my Dad's future wife-yep might not be the only ones getting married this year. Congratulations to my dad and Carol who became engaged last night before midnight.

Also planning to go to the ECHO's Confetti wedding show on Jan 24th with my mums sister Auntie Ann.

Also planning to look at more dresses before buying once and for all the one I have my eyes on. I love the look of lace dresses and need to rule them out as I haven't really tried any on.

Starting to get really excited!! Not really been thinking of much else as I have been ill with flu over the festive period!!!
