A bit of a lull
Started to panic last night though that time is slowly ticking away and that I still have SO much to do.
It is less then 10 months until the big day and while I feel incredibly guilty about not doing anything for months - I can't be bothered. I have other things on my mind and it is Christmas. I am sure Jan 1st I will spring into action.
I do think about the wedding now and then especially if I am having a really bad day and I do have a perfect picture in my head of what I want it to be like.
In this thought I am not wearing the dress I think maybe 'the one '. I have always pictured myself getting married in lace. The dress I love is a halter neck and made of taffeta it couldn't be more different than the one I dream of. But what do I do? Do I follow this dream and seek out a lace dress which will probably blow my budget or stick to a dress that I do love?
I may have found a florist- Fishlocks on Castle Street. I was making a video for the Christmas section on the Post and ECHO websites on how to make a Christmas Wreath and the flowers were just beautiful. I wasn't really into flowers and still don't want to have that many but that doesn't mean the ones we do have can't be beautiful. On the website the button holes look particularly lovely. I think I would like white/cream roses with a lavender background.
Having a simple colour scheme with a hint of purple which I am hoping will give the wedding a classic look. With the Hillbark as the venue I can't go far wrong.
Just remembered I need to put my name down for the competitions in Brides magazine. Apparently hardly anyone applies because no one thinks they can win! Excellent. It will be our little secret.......
