Wedding diet

By Samantha Parker on Aug 5, 08 03:33 PM in Wedding Diet

When a girl gets married she has a picture of herself in her head.

I am no different.

I see my self with toned arms, a tiny waist with a dress that fits like a glove. I have only tried on dresses twice and that image is certainly not what I see.

I am not fat, at least I don't think I am but I am unhappy with my size. I am a size 12-14 now but was a 10-12 before uni. I piled on the weight at uni due to a combination of drinking and late night take aways. When my mum died I ballooned to a 14-16. I have always been a comfort eater-I can't help it.

With exercise my weight went down but not enough and def not quick enough! I went to the doc about it because I was diagnosed with Polycystic ovaries and they can stop you from losing weight.

He told me exercise alone would not do the trick adn to try to do Weight Watchers or something. Was quite offended for some reason as exercise normally does it for me.

However, Rebecca lost a hell of a lot of weight last year in the run up to her wedding so I thought I should give it a go. I was sceptical but now I am a believer!!!

I do Weight Watchers online and in the first week I lost 2pounds and then a pound a week since then. Only been doing it for 4weeks and lost 5 pounds!! I have a long way to go to get to where I want to be.

I also have a personal trainer for 30mins a week called Steve. I work harder in that 30mins than I ever have before.

In fact I have to go now so I can get to the gym!! Will keep you posted about how I get on.
