The venue - The Hillbark Hotel

It was everything I dreamed about when I imagined my wedding and in my head no one else has been married here.

It is so stunning and everything it to such a high spec.

The bedrooms are also out of this world many with double jacuzzi's, tv's in the bathroom etc. I only wish we could spend more than a few hours in the room.

The Hillbark is very pricely-well we thought so. And we are journos with not a lot of spare cash (not any in fact) but I am very lucky in that my dad has given me a lovely sized budget which meant I could have my dream venue.

Every other venue I saw had something wrong with it, I didn't 'feel' them. I knew I would know it when I saw it. As we swept around the drive and saw the Hillbark looming in front of us I knew I was in love. I knew my family and friends would love it too.

Some of the other venues we saw needed a lot of decoration to look good whereas I will have to be very careful not to over decorate at the Hillbark. I am thinking a couple of candles and minimal flowers will do the trick. Will also save some pennies!!

I would like to discuss the other venues we saw but I'm not sure it will be fair. They weren't what we were looking for but that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with them as venues for other people.
